Without shoes on your feet…
You no longer feel any pain…
and the last small meal...
It was a long, long time ago.
Hunger… cold… accompany you…
Landscape passes by you…
and at night you hear again...
this scream again and again.
Images that then haunt you…
that never let you sleep…
and the voices you hear...
learned to hate the world.
But at the end of this journey…
look, there's a light over there!
And you only see it blurry...
because your vision is clouded!
Tears… this time full of joy…
yes, the goal... is almost reached...
and the feet… red… swollen…
walking now feels easy, like walking on moss.
