Künstler Statement
Katharina Hindes, born in Tajikistan, found refuge in Germany at the age of six after the traumatic experiences of the civil war. These early challenges left a deep impression on her and significantly influenced her artistic development.
Her creative career began in a print agency and then as an advertising technician, but she later rediscovered her true passion for painting. To perfect her skills, she completed a master's program at the renowned Milan Art Institute. Here she refined her unique style of abstract realism, which impresses with multi-layered compositions and a final layer of oil, creating extraordinary depth and liveliness.
Hindes' works are characterized by themes of strength, courage and overcoming. They reflect the essence of the hero and rebel and challenge the viewer to recognize their own inner strength. Each of her works is an expression of her personal journey and a manifesto of her unwavering devotion to art.
Katharina strives to tell stories and evoke emotions through her art. She looks forward to collaborating with galleries and collectors worldwide and is ready to enrich the art scene with her impressive works.
"I am Katharina Hindes, born in Tajikistan in 1987 and living in Germany since 1993. Today I paint in my small studio north of Hamburg.
I discovered the magic of art when I was young. I clearly remember my first abstract painting and the feeling of creating a world that evokes emotions and inspires the imagination. Art offers the opportunity to change the world with colors and shapes.
Although I taught myself a lot, I often didn't feel like a "real" artist. To overcome this feeling, I enrolled at the Milan Art Institute in Florida and learned everything I needed to realize my artistic vision.
Now I am here, ready to change the world. I want to convey strength, pride and hope through my work - themes that have occupied me throughout my life. The stories of people who have overcome challenges and are proud of their path inspire me deeply. We are all capable of stepping out of the most difficult situations and facing any challenge. I want to express this vision and inspiration in my art.
My pictures are meant to give you strength and fill your home and your life with positive energy.
I'm always happy to hear the stories of the people my art speaks to. If you want to share your thoughts with me, feel free to write to me at he.katharina@googlemail.com. Your story inspires me to create new works and lets me celebrate the diversity of human experiences."
